Please read the remediation recommendations provided in error messages to help address file upload errors. Once the file is corrected, re-upload the updated file to check whether any additional errors need to be addressed. This correction-reupload process must be repeated until the file can be successfully updated (i.e. the file is free of errors). Common errors can be divided into two categories: (1) template errors and (2) data errors.
Template errors can be corrected by using the omics-specific template provided. Transferring the sample data into the provided template will ensure that all the expected sheets, columns, etc. are accounted for. Alternatively, if only small corrections are required, the file for upload can be edited directly to exactly match the template. Template errors include:
-
Incorrect file type
-
Missing sheets in Excel file
-
Missing columns in sheet
-
Missing or invalid fixed values
Data errors can be corrected by editing specific cells (e.g. fixing typos). Data errors include:
-
Missing samples (most likely a result of incorrect sample barcodes)
-
Missing concentrations
-
Negative concentrations
-
Replicate samples
